This morning I decided it was time to get rid of all those empty wine bottles, as I started feeling like an alcoholic looking at them. So on my way to grocery shopping, I dropped them at the bottle bank (which, by the way, is a really strange word. Will the empty bottles be saved there? Can I go back and withdraw them?). The container had a sign on it, asking people to only deposit their waste glass between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on weekdays, and to please not do so on weekends, so as not to disturb the residents.
There is no housing near the bottle bank - only a cemetary. I wonder if they mind...
